Account Director & Principal
Karen relocated to Los Angeles several years ago after receiving
her medical training in Pennsylvania.
Once in Los Angeles she worked for several companies in various fields
including Human Resources and Business Development.
Since 1995 Karen has been an Executive Recruiter. She launched E=MC2
in 1998. Her career has always revolved around working with people.
Several years ago she was helping a colleague with their recruiting
business and realized she had found her calling.
Ms. Rosenhoover has developed E=MC2
clients to include Global Energy Providers, ESCO’s, Energy focused
E-Commerce & Software Firms, IPP’s, Distributed Generation
& Fuel Cell Companies, Energy Systems Manufacturing, Management
Consulting & Engineering Firms, Utilities and Electronic Firms.
Her successful global searches have included: Vice President of Business
Development, VP of Operations, VP of International Business Development,
Technical Service Director, National RFP Director, Director of National
Government Services, Account Managers/Directors, Financial Analyst
and Lead Mechanical Designer.
In her off hours, Karen enjoys Boogie boarding, gardening and biking
near her home on the Venice Beach bike path. She is often seen in
the early morning hours on the Venice Web Cam.
Karen has strong interests in film, contemporary art and music of
all kinds.
Pat Akers
Account Executive
Pat
is a native of Kansas City, Missouri, and holds a B.A. degree from
the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
In search of adventure, Pat moved to the Los Angeles area
in 1978 to work on a large-scale art project.
Encouraged by friends to hone her comedy skills, she took
classes in stand-up comedy and, for several years, performed in
clubs around Southern California and in her home town.
Pat
joined the E=MC2 team in 1999. She brings with her a background of over 20 years of diversified
sales management.
Pat
has successfully placed candidates with Global Energy Providers,
Utility Subsidiaries, Distributed Generation Companies, Energy Systems
Manufacturers and Energy Services Companies.
Her
successful placements include: Director of Business Development, Director of Engineering, Marketing
Communications Manager, Business Manager-Gas, National Account Manager
and Sales Manager.
A student
of T’ai Chi Ch’uan since 1989, Pat also teaches beginning
and advanced students this graceful martial art that some describe
as a “moving meditation”.
Additional interests include reading, the theater and tennis.
